Meet Dr. Sara Posada
My name is Sara Posada, and I have always loved working with kids, even when I was a kid myself. In school, growing up, I participated in buddy programs, where I would guide and help the younger students. Going into university and dental school, I continued by volunteering with kids in my free time.
Children are so spontaneous, full of life, and open to learning, which makes working with them so much fun and rewarding. My passion is to not only make kids comfortable in the dental setting, but also help provide them with a foundation of oral health knowledge so they can have healthy mouths for the rest of their lives.
I feel that every time a child goes to the dentist, they and their families should feel comfortable and trust that they are in a safe setting. I aim to explain all parts of the process, whether it’s simple at home preventative care or comprehensive treatment, in a way that both parents and kids feel they fully understand the reasoning as well as the steps required.
I work towards being a better pediatric dentist every day, staying up to date on the best, newest treatments and techniques in order to provide the easiest experience and most lasting oral health for every child. I am so happy to be a part of the great team at Just for Kids and to have the opportunity to care for the wonderful community of Forney as well as its surrounding areas.
Academic Achievements
I was born and raised in California, where I completed grade school. I then went to Boston College for my undergraduate degree in biology followed by dental school at Columbia University. I then completed my pediatric dental specialty at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where I was chief resident.
Although I have completed all of my training, I continue to learn every day and strive to keep updating my knowledge base.

Outside of the Office
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband, Dr. Saxon Day, who is currently a dentist training to be an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
We have two furry babies, a feisty, vocal yorkie named Coco and silly, loving mini goldendoodle named Bhalu. We enjoy taking them for walks and hikes, as well as taking them to dog parks to make new friends. We also love traveling around the globe, trying new restaurants (we love food!), and spending quality time with family and friends.
